Elmwood is designed for guests who crave comfort, convenience, and a stay that feels easy from the moment you arrive.
Set across three levels, the house offers a mix of cozy guest rooms and inviting common spaces to settle into. Two rooms are located on the main floor, three on the second level, and three on the third, each with its own character and feel. For those looking for a little more flexibility, the Cunard and Peake suites include kitchen spaces, ideal for longer stays or slower mornings.
Outside, the property opens up with a large yard, quiet sitting areas, and a classic front veranda that’s made for coffee, a book, or a glass of wine at the end of the day.
In the shared guest areas, you will find books, games, and a selection of thoughtful extras like umbrellas and beach towels available to borrow. A light complimentary breakfast is served each morning from 8 to 10 on silver trays, which you can enjoy in the dining room or take outside to start your day.
Arrival is often self check in, giving you the flexibility to come and go as you please. There is usually a cleaner or manager on site, but in person greetings are not always guaranteed. Guests should be comfortable accessing the property independently and using stairs.
The house works best for people who like to settle in and move at their own pace.
